Who he is:
Prakash Angadi is the father of Ashwini Angadi. He has been the guiding force in Ashwini’s life, instilling in her the desire to help others. He strongly believes in what Ashwini can achieve and stands by her 24/7 in all the difficulties in the day-to-day running of the school.
Path to AAT:
Prakash runs a restaurant in Bangalore’s busy Majestic area, bringing the unique cuisine of North Karnataka to hungry Bangaloreans. For Prakash, Ashwini’s dream of opening Belaku Academy was his dream too. At AAT, Prakash handles Administration and the Trust’s finances.
Passion:
For Prakash, helping others comes naturally. He sees potential in everyone, everywhere. “Here, at AAT, we are not thinking of giving a crutch to these children. We are breaking the circle of helplessness and empowering people to look forward to the future with confidence.”
Personal:
Prakash is originally from Bellary, but has called Bangalore home for the last 30 years. He has been married for 33 years to his wife, Vedavathi. Ashwini is their only daughter. The couple has two sons.
